Today’s announcement came as no surprise to anyone who has been following the NBA this year. Lebron James is the MVP.
There are plenty of reasons why King James collected 109 out of 121 first place votes. He led the Cavaliers to the league’s best record (66-16), which was also a franchise best, securing home court advantage throughout the playoffs. The Cavs were 39-2 at home, and will have that edge in every playoff series this year. He averaged 28.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game.
