Indians Hire Manny Acta as New Manager

Shortly before two former-Indian Cy Young award winners face off in the World Series, the Tribe has a new manager: former Washington Nationals skipper Manny Acta.
Honestly, who knows if this is a good hire or not. He does have experience managing a major league team. But his record as a manager is 158-252 (.385). Then again, he was coaching a terrible Nationals team.
The link above has more information about Acta and the future of the team. Despite his record, I think he could be a decent manager for the Indians, so I’m willing to give him a shot.
Even if he doesn’t turn out to be any good, at least he should do better than that guy the Browns hired as their head coach.
