Looks Like the Browns have a New Head Coach

Eric Mangini, recently fired from his head coaching job with the New York Jets, will be pacing the sideline for the Browns next year.

Reportedly he received a 4 year deal. No word yet on what the contract is worth.

I am somewhat optimistic about this move. Unlike Romeo Crennel, this is not his first head coaching job. He just finished his third year with the Jets and had a decent stint there. He’s a young coach so you have to expect he’s going to get better. So there’s hope for the Browns improving next year.

Playoffs next year? We’ll see. This team has a lot of work to do.
