Cavs Update, 12.10.08
December 10th, 2008 at 12:30 am by Displaced Cleveland FanTonight, the Cavaliers beat the Toronto Raptors 114-94. The team won their 9th straight game, improving their record to 18-3. The closest game during this winning streak was the 12-point victory over Milwaukee on November 29. This team definitely looks like it has a legitimate shot and the Finals this year.
Not only was this game #9 on their current winning streak, we also had two records set tonight.
- Lebron James passed Mark Price to become the Cavaliers’ steals leader. Price had 734 steals in his career. James now has 737.
- Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 6 rebounds, passing Brad Daugherty’s 5,227 for the franchise mark.
So now with a fourth of the regular season over, the Cavaliers are showing a lot of promise, giving even Cleveland fans a glimmer of hope.
