Browns beat Giants, 35-14

Monday, October 13th, 2008

Are you kidding me?

If you would have told me before the game that the Browns would have lost 35-14, I would have commended your optimism. Going up against the best team in football on Monday night, without Winslow, with D.A. ‘08, and with the way the team as a whole has been playing, it didn’t look promising.

Ohio State beats Wisconsin 20-17

This is how a National Championship team plays football.

On the road against a tough Wisconsin team, in a big game on prime time TV, the Buckeyes found a way to win. They looked really good early, then were down 10-7 at halftime. Even when they were trailing 17-13 with 6:31 left, the team kept their composure. They played like the game was theirs at the end. And it was. No matter how tough the Badger defense was after the Buckeyes’ first drive, this was Ohio State’s game. (more…)
